Nothing to do with Cycling

2 weeks ago my wife and I started the "Daniel fast", you know Daniel from the Bible...the one who was thrown to the lions and lived.

So when he was first taken from his home he asked his keepers to only feed him fruit and vegetables, and that is what we are doing. What a great experience this has been and a real test. It's been nice because we can't really go to the store and pick anything up, so we have had to cook all our meals and the girls have really gotten involved in helping. I think it's really done a lot to bring us together as a family even more than we already are. The challenge will be to keep that same spirit alive when we are done.

We are still alive!

So it's a new year and time to knock the dust off this space, with some updates.

We haven't been on the road bikes since Oct...yikes!!!!!

We will be riding in the Livestrong Challenge again this year. They haven't announced the dates yet, but I will post those when they are out.

It sounds like at this years challenge we are going to have a small group of us from http://www.bicyclegroup.com try to have a little get together along with the ride.
